Its location just a short stroll away from Het Binnenhof was great. This hotel was set in a fairly nice area.

Grand historical decor, Unique room identification with vases, Luxurious comfortable rooms
Wellness facilities require updates!!! Unkept maintenance in public spaces is noticeable!!! The high parking fee is absurdly excessive!!! The lack of clarity in amenity details can lead to confusion!!!

Incredible location in a good district. Also - just off Scheveningen beach, the square and many restaurants and historical or important sites. Amazing design of interiors in superior double room. Pleasant views over the park and beautiful facilities.

All my thoughts, no sugarcoating
While the ambiance and historic charm are captivating, the service left much to be desired. Slow breakfast, inconsistent communication, and issues with amenities can tarnish the experience. A stay here offers lovely surroundings but be prepared for bumps in service was nice.

The nice touches when we got back to the hotel late in the evening......nice soft music, some nice (special blend for the hotel) tea and information about the weather of the day to come.
A very nice Hotel, nothing big to complain about. I thought the shower was a bit meager (The big rainshower head didn't do it for me). The temperature regulation seemed to be faulty/difficult to set the right temperature (room 337). And if you wanted to use the small shower head you had hold it in your hand and couln't clamp it to the wall.

Staffing levels were low for this class of hotel.in particular linen should be changed daily . The "we are saving the environment "tactic is just cover for we are saving money at the guests expense!

The Superior Double Room was really comfy and stylish, with a spacious layout. Loved the heated bathroom floors, such a nice touch! The bed was super cozy. But there was some dust in the corners, which could have been better cleaned. A beautiful room with all the right vibes.
